The last Qualification round of the Lapua European Cup 25m done – Lunev and Ceper shot the victories

The last Qualification round of the Lapua European Cup 2020 competed in Aarhus, Denmark.

Men competed on Saturday (12.9.) the Centre Fire Pistol 25m competition. The best was Azerbaijan Ruslan Lunev with result 580. He won gold with the difference of one point before Slovenian Joze Ceper (579). The winner of bronze medal was Allan Gejl from the hosting country Denmark with result 573.

On Sunday athletes competed the last qualification round of the Standard Pistol. Saturday´s silver medallist Slovenian Joze Ceper bright the result on gold. Ceper was superior by winning the competition with the difference of six points before Swedish Jan Olof Danielsson. Ceper´s result was 572. The fight of silver medal was much tighter while Danielsson and Slovenian Peter Tkalec shot the same result 566. Danielsson had 11 inner tens instead of Tkalec´s 9 inner tens. Danielsson won silver, Tkalec bronze.

The 2020 Lapua European Cup Final should be competed in Lisbon Portugal on 9-11.10.2020, if everything goes well and the Covid-19 virus does not multiplies.
