European shooters take five out of six medals including two Golds on Day 8 of the Olympics

Medals were distributed today in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women and - for the very first time - in the Trap Mixed Team events.

Fatima Galvez and Alberto Fernandez from Spain took Gold in Trap Mixed Team. Alessandra Perilli and Gian Marco Berti from San Marino won Silver which is the second Olympic medal in the country's history.

In Bronze medal match Madelynn Ann Bernau and Brian Burrows from USA beat Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková and Erik Varga from Slovakia in a bitter struggle. Fate of the third place was decided by the shoot-off.

In 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women Nina Kristen from Switzerland won the first Gold for Switzerland. It's the second medal for her already: earlier Nina won Bronze in 10m Air Rifle Women.

Silver was won by Yulia Zykova, and Bronze by Yulia Karimova - both representing the ROC. For Yulia Karimova this is the second medal in Tokyo too.

Congratulations to all medalists and finalists!
