Eight Mixed Team Events are proposed for the 2019 European Games program

he ESC has proposed to include 8 Mixed Team events in the program of the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus. Besides three Olympic Mixed Team events in 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol and Trap, the ESC proposal includes the Mixed Teem events in 25m Pistol, 50m Pistol, 50m Prone Rifle, Skeet and Double Trap. Together with the 12 individual Olympic events in Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun the total number of events in the Shooting program of the 2nd European Games is expected to be 20.

According to the ESC proposal any NOC will be able to enter up to 2 (two) teams in 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, 25m Pistol, 50m Pistol, 50m Prone Rifle, Trap and Skeet Mixed Team events. Their participants will be comprised of athletes qualified to take part in the individual events among Men and Women.


In Double Trap any NOC will be able to enter only 1 (one) team. The participants will be determined by the results of the 2018 European Championship Shotgun in Leobersdorf, Austria. 9 (nine) top-ranked teams of this Championship (one per country) will be qualified to take part in the 2019 European Games.


165 Men and 165 Women will take part in the shooting competitions of the 2nd European Games. All the Finals are supposed to take place from 22nd till 29th of June, 2019.


The consultative meeting between the European Shooting Confederation, the Organizing Commiitte "Minsk-2019" and the European Olympic Committees took place in Zagreb, Croatia, during the 46-th EOC General Assembly.
