GOLD AND SILVER OF THE LAST OLYMPIC EVENT AT THE 51st ISSF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WERE WON BY EUROPEAN SHOOTERS

The gold and silver medals in Skeet Men - the last Olympic event disputed at the 51st ISSF World Championship in Granada - were won by the European shooters.

Alexander Zemlin (pictured) from Russia hit all 16 targets if the Gold Medal match - two more than Anthony Terras from France and became the new World Champion. Another Frenchman Eric Delannay was less successful in the Bronze Medal Match than Azmy Mehelba from Egypt and finished on the 4th place. Luigi Lodde from Italy finished on the 6th place. The three medal winners got the Quota Placed for the Games of the XXXI in Rio-de-Janeiro.


In Skeet Men Junior the new World Champion is Gabriele Rossetti from Italy. In the Gold Medal Match he left the silver to Stefanos Nikolaidis from Cyprus. Felix Haase from Germany finished on the 4th place leaving the bronze to Philip Russel Jungman from the USA. Ben William David Llewellin from Great Britain finished on the 5th place, Christian Benet from Italy on the 6th.


Andre Link from Germany won the third medal event of the last day of the competitions in Granada - 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Junior. Alexis Raymond from France was second, Gernot Rumpler from Austria - third, Emilien Chassat from France - 4th, Evgeny Panchenko from Russia - 6th and Hrachik Babayan from Armenia - 7th.
