New stars are born!

Here in Győr we see new faces that shine very brightly, and this cannot but rejoice!

Air Pistol events continued and concluded Thursday’s competitions.

Anna Dulce from Moldova took the lead from the very beginning of the match and didn’t let it go anywhere. Moreover, from series to series she increased the gap from her rivals. And so she took Gold with a difference of amazing 2,5 points from Turkish Şimal Yılmaz! Zorana “Always Smiling” Arunović from Serbia took Bronze.

In Team event Miriam Jákó, Veronika Major, and Sára Ráhel Fábián from the host nation were the best. Ukrainians Olena Kostevych, Yuliia Isachenko, and Viliena Bevz took Silvers, Polish Klaudia Breś, Natalia Król, Katarzyna Klepacz – Bronzes.

As for the Men's tournament, the leader changed throughout the match. Robin Walter from Germany was the first to drop out of medal contention and won Bronze.

Then two shooters were left on the field of play: Italian Paolo Monna and Slovak Juraj Tužinský.

Two shooters. Two shots.

And only with the last shot Paolo snatched the Victory! His reaction was more than predictable.

In Team event Germans (Robin Walter, Michael Schwald, Paul Fröhlich) were the best followed by Türkiye (Yusuf Dikeç, Ismail Keleş, Buğra Selimzade) and Ukraine (Viktor Bankin, Pavlo Korostylov, Oleh Omelchuk).

Thanks for a very exciting show!
